What information do you need from my company when we use Ingredient IQ
Annual volume expectations for the next 3 years, are you looking to switch suppliers now or is this an information gathering exercise, when you are thinking of switching suppliers, what is the country you use the ingredient in, and names of suppliers you do not want us to approach.
Can I use the escrow system if I am not purchasing the ingredients through Savendor?
Yes. There is a 4% markup on the transaction to facilitate the escrow management
If I find a supplier I want to use through the Ingredient IQ, can I buy directly from the manufacturer?
Yes! The goal of Ingredient IQ is to empower your team to make the best decisions and does not require Savendor as an intermediary.
How do you vet the suppliers in your supply base?
There is limited public information available on manufacturers. We look at regulatory publications, the reputation of the company, and the quality of interactions a supplier has had with our customers previously.
When I buy an ingredient through Savendor, what is the chain of control?
Ownership of the product goes directly from the manufacturer to your company.
Does Savendor handle shipping and transportation?
Your company or the manufacturer are responsible for transportation and customs. Manufacturers will be instructed to follow your shipping guidance when applicable.
